President Lincoln's Assassination: Our Conclusion - CoverUps.com

assassination-lincoln

There is certainly reason to believe that the murder of Lincoln was part of a conspiracy that went beyond Booth, killed before he could stand trial, as well as those arrested, tried, convicted, and hanged or imprisoned for their involvement in the plot. Since all the facts are not at our disposal, one hundred and thirty three years after his death, it is unlikely that the truth involving Lincoln's death will ever be known.

Speaking of Lincoln, if you get a chance to visit Washington D.C., make sure to go to the Lincoln Memorial. Inside, on a white marble throne, a larger than life Lincoln sits. His expression is very striking. He looks spent, exhausted, as though the effort of saving the Union has drained him to the bone, and now he's taking a well deserved rest.

Although there may be some naysayers in the South, the American people, by and large, are grateful to "Honest Abe" for the huge effort he

undertook in saving the Union, as well as the supreme price he paid for his actions.

As long as Old Glory flies over the vast, fruited plain, Lincoln will never be forgotten.

Rest well, Abraham.
