UN HEADQUARTERS, NY – There is a huge protest being made over Bush’s recent appointment of Don Imus as U.N. ambassador. Many are complaining about the odd choice, but a size-able amount of people, CoverUps.com has learned, are claiming Imus is just what is needed.
U.N. President of the General Assembly, Jan Kavan: “What Americans do no longer surprises me anymore,” said Kavan, scratching his bald head. “I mean, John Bolton was contentious enough – with his ‘let’s bomb Iran’ stance, but come on Don Imus. This will really stir up the hornets nest. Why not just make that guy that played Kramer on Seinfeld the next UN Ambassador and get it over with?”
However, as we mentioned, some political analysts like the pick.
Charles Pinkerton, a political analyst for Fox News, said that this could serve to advance American interests very well. “The U.N. has clearly become a platform to take pot shots at the United States,” he told CoverUps.com. “So, why not give it right back to them, and what better person to do this than Don Imus? He is almost too good for the job. We all heard what he said about the Rutgers basketball team and thought it was out of place. Just imagine what he might say about the Iranian delegation if they piss him off? He might very well resort to the same language they use to describe us.”
Pinkerton recalled the insulting speech made by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez when he was addressing the assembly, not too long ago. “I would have loved to hear what Imus would say, that moron! I'm sure Chavez would've got the dude all riled up. I would love for him to have the chance.”
So would we. So would we.
