Well, anyone who has done any extensive research into the death of our darling Norma Jean Baker would know that there is a preposterous amount of damaging evidence against. Peter Lawford and Robert Kennedy.

 

Everyone lied to the world to cover up the most sloppily planned out murder in history. In an interview shortly after Marilyn's death the next door neighbors testify to the fact that they saw a helicopter land in Marilyn's yard the night of her death and the woman said that he looked like JFK. Well, it wasn't JFK, but his similar looking younger brother Bobby.

 

The Kennedy's are fools if they think we all don't know what really happened that night. The forensic evidence in the autopsy report doesn't even match up. Thomas Noguchi performed the autopsy on August 13, 1962 but what most people don't know is that there are pages missing from the original autopsy report. When the paramedics were called to the scene the night of her death, they all changed their stories a million times. I wonder who was pressuring them to keep their mouths shut.

 

I have so much forensic, circumstantial, and physical evidence that I could prosecute Bobby Kennedy if he were alive. I should probably write a damn book except that they would probably knock me off too!!

I agree with Steve, except Joe D. had more to do with it. The strangest part is Lawford, Sinatra, and both K's were all connected, whether on the same page or not, to Marilyn.

First of all I hope I never hear the names Marilyn Monroe and Kurt Cobain in the same sentence ever again. One had talent and happened to be an inconvenient woman to several around her, the other not even worthy of mentioning.

 

I think the Marilyn/Kennedy sags is so unbelievably ironic in the sense that Marilyn was the first to die, followed by the murders of John and Robert. Can we say, 'What goes around comes around?'

Hoover had a meeting with the president and told him to get rid of her. Bobby Kennedy was the one that killed her. She had a diary and everything that was top secret she would write it down. She knew that the Kennedy's were through with her and she felt used and jilted. She was going to tell it all but she never got the chance.

 

The government came in and got rid of all of the evidence and LA Police helped cover it up. LA police even til this day covers up many things. The FBI, CIA, Mafia, Kennedys, and her docter were all tied in together, but Bobby and someone with him actually did the killing.

Marilyn spent her whole life looking for someone that really loved her, she was used by people that she trusted and she never really was appreciated beyond her beauty. There are too many questions surrounding her untimely death, too much evidence has been tampered with or ' lost '. Those in her presence the last hours have changed their story a million times.

 

Given the scientific evidence and technology we have today, her case should be reopened and the public , the ones who really cared for her, should know the truth. It is obvious that she didn't die of a pill overdose, therefore who injected her to her death? Why aren't the ' bug' tapes that the Mafia had on her revealed? What was J. Edgar Hoover's part in it? And this what I really want to know,,, Is Nancy Mariscalco Greene really the daughter she had with JFK in 1947???

 

One day the Kennedy files will be opened, maybe then we will know the truth...

Norma Jeane was definitely MURDERED!

 

If she had taken her final dose of pills, there would of been residue in the stomach and there was none! The doctor that did the autopsy is NOT FOOLING ANYONE!

 

Norma Jeane was given a fatal enema of drugs. She was from a family that had psychosis, but Norma Jeane was happy around her final days and was looking forward to alot of things. Her anus was discolored and that is what happened. What a shame. I hope whoever did that will see hell.

 

Even though she is a legend that will never grow old, murder is murder! I have been a huge fan of hers since I was 8 or 9. I am now 31.

 

I will always adore her...Peace to her always! She was so very beautiful!

I can't understand why anyone would believe that Marilyn Monroe was going to hold a press conference wherein she told the world that not one but both Kennedy brothers had jilted her. Give her more credit then that, all of you so-called fans. Marilyn by '62 was not at all politically naive. She was beginning to understand political realities for the first time in her life. Nor was she suicidal about her career. She was and always had been a total careerist. And reporting a bunch a absolute nonsense about being "jilted" by the President and his brother would have been CAREER SUICIDE.

 

Doesn't Wolfe report in his book that she had worked out all of her problems with 20th Century Fox and her career appeared to be in better shape than it had been in years? Also, she was back with Joe DiMaggio. So, we know that she had absolutely NO reason to hold idiotic press conferences that would only succeed in making her look like an insane loser. In any case it would have been surpressed. As well such baseless should.

 

However, she had no reason to commit suicide either. Check out especially the last chapters of Wolfe's book. Marilyn was surrounded by a group of sinister hangers-on who had managed to turn her into a money-making [most of which they were embezzling from her] drugged-out zombie. Marilyn was going to fire all of them. She had in fact already fired Eunice Murray, Greenspan was next and no doubt a whole series of other parasites who had been manipulating her for years. It was about THEM she was going to spill the beans. And that would have been a story with shocking international geopolitical implications. A fascinating story. But one we will probably never hear. I think Marilyn was murdered, I don't know why they don't exhume her body for forensic testing.

With todays modern technology they must be able to come up with some evidence. It is impossible to believe that the police and autopsy reports of one of the most famous people on the planet could just go missing.

Marilyn was angry at JFK for breaking her heart, so as Bobby told Marilyn classified government information, she took notes so she could use it against the Kennedys. Bobby began to realize this and had to get away from her. Marilyn, hurt, threatened to reveal every secret and every affair she had. Once the CIA heard this, they knew she had to leave. With HER fame, they had to make it look like a suicide. Bobby, still in love with Marilyn went to her house to talk to her before they killed her. Since Marilyn was angry, she told him she felt use and wanted him out. The CIA did the rest, and there was nothing anyone could do since our own government murdered this beautiful woman.

Although I can't be certain, I believe that Marilyn Monroe did not kill herself. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that suggests otherwise. What was responsible for her death I'm not sure of. If a genuinely proper investigation had been performed, perhaps suicide wouldn't be listed as her cause of death. I hope one day the truth will be revealed. The truth is out there...

If you knew anything you would know that Marilyn Monroe was linked to both Robert F. Kennedy who was assassinated and John F. Kennedy who was assassinated. So I believe that it was a political assassination as opposed to a murder.

Marilyn Monroe, was killed by the Kennedy's, in an attempt to hide all of their secrets she knew. She was never given the respect she deserved and was constantly seen as a whore and nothing else. There should have been a much more thorough investigation into her death because it was quite obviously murder.

I think JFK hired the doctor and his brother Bobby to kill Marilyn. He figured out that she was going to expose their little love affair. He knew that would ruin his reputation and presidency.

 

She was going to hold a press conference and tell everyone that she and John had a baby together. Maybe even Jackie was in on it, she could of been jealous of Marilyn. When she found out her husband was fooling around with Ms. Monroe, she went crazy. I don't really believe what some people say about her maid killed her, but you never know.

 

Maybe Bobby paid some stranger to do it and they wouldn't find out. The only thing that they found out, is that he supplied the arrangement about the murder. People just really think that he was the last person to be with her. Now that she is dead, there is missing police reports, autopsy photos, some documents, now if you don't think that is pretty weird, then you must have been smoking something bad! I think Marilyn Monroe died as a result of an overdose. I also think this was accidental, administered in the form of an enema by someone who didn't really know what they were doing.

 

This person/s, were obviously privy to what was going on in Marilyn's life and so, to cover their own tracks, pointed the finger of blame to perhaps a convenient Kennedy or two. Thus we have the half baked theories today perpetuated by people who know very little of what they claim.

WHY: Sam wanted to get back at the Kennedy's. Sam was very angry with the Kennedy's and knew that Bobby Kennedy would be in California on the weekend of August 4th. Thus, he tried to make it look like Bobby killed her. Sam thought that by framing Bobby, the entire world would soon find out about both Kennedy's affairs with Marilyn. However, Sam was not prepared for the lengths that Bobby would go though to cover these affairs up. Bobby did in fact go over to Marilyn's house the night of her death. He was not alone, he brought a doctor with him. Marilyn was angry with Bobby's refusal to talk to her or see her over the past few weeks. Bobby instructed the doctor to give her a shot that would calm her down. Bobby and the doctor left the house. Bobby soon went over to Peter Lawford's house where he got in a helicopter that had landed on the beach. He went back to his other relatives house, somewhere in northern California. Meanwhile, Sam had people watching Marilyn's house. When they saw Bobby leave her house, they went into the house and injected an anal drug. They waited for Marilyn to pass out, and shortly left her house. Through Peter Lawford, Bobby found out about Marilyn's death sometime that Sunday morning. Worried that he might have been the one who in fact had killed her, he covered everything up. (Such as phone records.)

I personally think she was murdered by either the Kennedy's or Eunice her maid because Marilyn fired her the day she died. The Kennedy's because Marilyn knew too much. It is sad that we will never know really what happened. I really don't think she had any intentions of killing herself though, she was just been rehired to do Somethings Got to Give and had just signed a new contract. She had too much to live for, but what is real cool is all the fans keeping her spirit alive. Marilyn Will Live Forever, God Bless.

I don't think anyone intentionallly meant to kill her, just reason with her. That's why her body went to the hospital before being brought back to Helen Drive, where it was then carefully placed to look like suicide. Someone wanted her to calm down and overdosed her with injection or enema. Although, I did once read somewhere that Peter Lawford had commented to his wife, "That will be the last f******* anal enema she will ever have." Also, I read someone on the eve of her death telephoned from San Francisco asking if she was dead yet. Whatever, she sure did not kill herself, accidently or not.

Please read Donald Spoto's biography on Marilyn and pay some close attention to the notes. I have read more than 200 books about Marilyn. Spoto's book is the "bible"` among them all, I think. Well researched and honestly written. Try it!

"Last Days of Marilyn Monroe" by Donald Wolfe *absolutely excludes* the suicide-by-ingestion theory. While it does not prove the guilt of RFK beyond a reasonable doubt, the circumstancial evidence is overwhelming. Neither Greenson nor the Mob had a motive to kill Monroe; the Kennedys had an obvious one.

I believe it was her psychiatrtist Ralph Greenson. I am in the mist of doing an investgation report on this and out of all the theories this is the one that makes the most sense.

 

An autopsy showed no form of residue from pills in her stomach which her death caused by an overdose is highly unlikely. Greenson was the first to be called and arrive and it was almost an hour before police were phoned.

 

The story by Eunice Marray, her housekeeper who was hired by Greenson, was changed after finding out the facts of the case (like time of death etc.). Marilyn had spoken to friends before her death and all had said she was happy and alert. Her life was looking up, for instance she was getting remarried to Joe DiMaggio (was to be held August 8th of that same year)... It was plainly murder and not suicide.

If Marilyn was such a mess, how could she have achieved all her success and worked at ALL in an industry so cutthroat there are no words to describe it.

 

She was fired not because of her absence from the set, but rather because Elizabeth Taylor was having a grand time with Richard Burton making one of the all time bombs in filmdom, both financially and storywise. Someone had to be the sacrificial lamb, so it fell to the wayward child.

 

If she were supposed to have been getting remarried to DiMaggio on August 8, why would she have checked out. Her dress had been chosen, all arrangements had been made, and she was functioning as well as anyone might under all the pressure she was under.

 

As everyone has so rightly pointed out, no residue of about 40 or so pills, no water to take all of them. If you know anything about suicide, even with a built in tolerance, you will vomit up most of the medication. Look at Lupe Velez.

 

My personal theory is that she was murdered, most likely by her psychologist who had the medical knowledge to perform such an act without being caught.

 

Mickey Rudin, Greenson, and group were all connected with Sinatra. After her passing, DiMaggio never spoke to any of them ever again, nor remarried.

 

I don't assume they intended to actually kill her, rather discredit her completely and totally as a viable personality. Coupled with what she had in her system already on a cumulative basis, coupled with an injection that would do the trick. It went too far (Read Anthony Summer's book for a very thorough critique) and there was no turning back. And as far as the Kennedy's go - well, JFK had severe back problems and was on so much medication he couldn't have gotten it up with a winch and crane. RFK - Hoover had too much on him. Now there's someone who would have had a grand motive to knock her off. Especially after she saved Arthur Miller during the HUAC times.

 

I've been to Westwood often (I live here in LA) and her grandmother is also buried there. She came up the hard scrabble way and deserved every accolade she ever got - live and posthumously. Her determination should be an inspiration.

I think the Kennedy men have never been accused of being chaste or moral. Starting with the old man down to baby Teddy, each had their own skeletons (pun intended) and never kept them in a closet - we just let them all get away with murder. There is no statute of limitation on murder cases and they should all be tried and sentenced, only if found guilty of course, whether they themselves are now living are dead. Punitive damages should be awarded to the victims relatives or estates.

 

But the main thing is that we say, 'you're guilty, we knew it then, we know it now'. And the humorous twist, if there is such a thing involving the Kennedy clan, although promiscuity was an accepted way of life for the male members, it was not tolerated in the females. Case in point, when old Joe found his daughter to be in intimate relationships (a lot of them), he had his doctors perform a lobotomy on her. She lived the rest of her life as a vegetable. Another victim of the Kennedy Men?

Pure and simple, it was the Kennedys who killed Marilyn. Bobby Kennedy was at Marilyn's on the day of her death, and with his many friends it was very easy to cover up his involvement!

I believe that Marilyn Monroe was murdered.

 

She had too much too look forward to to kill herself. Her whole life she wanted to make a movie about Jean Harlow and she was contracted to be in one.

 

And how come they called the cops four hours after they found her dead? Does it really take that long to pronounce someone dead? I do not think so. And how come her autopsy stuff was missing too? That's very rare.

Marylin Monroe died from an accidental overdose of the barbituate Nembutal. It wasn't the first time she had taken too much. There are many accounts of her being pulled from the jaws of, under similar conditions. On August 4th 1962 her luck finally ran out.

I agree with the majority, Marilyn did not intentionally kill herself. In my opinion there are a few believable outcomes. One, is that Marilyn accidentally overdosed. Maybe she swallowed it with water somewhere else in the house. Two, the shrink did it. Why? I dunno. But however, Marilyn did NOT kill herself intentionally, either she did by accident or someone helped her out.

I believe that Bobby Kennedy came to see Marilyn on the night she died with the intention of killing her because she had given birth to Jack's child.

 

The press conference was to acknowledge this fact so that Marilyn could rescue the child who was being abused. Bobby could not let this happen, because it would not only tarnish Jack but the entire Kennedy Family. I believe that Bobby, did not realize that the housekeeper was in another room. I believe that he left the front door unlocked when he came in so that his brother Ted could slip in to help him.

 

I believe that she had taken her usual pills to help her sleep, and was asleep beside Bobby when Ted opened the door. The light in the hall was on and had no cover on it making it very bright. The light woke Marilyn up because she had trouble sleeping. She put her hand to her head and said, "Hey what's going on?" Bobby kept saying, "Turn the light out!" Ted could not find the light switch. Bobby said, "Then just come in and shut the door!" As Ted entered the room, Marilyn pushed into Bobby for protection. Bobby pushed back pushing her to the edge of the bed where Ted put his body on top of her crushing her with his weight as they struggled. Bobby injected her at this point.

 

They found the little red diary where she had written about her baby girl. They took it and left. After they left, the housekeeper checked on Marilyn after hearing noises. She found her unconscious and called the ambulance. As Bobby & Ted were driving away, they met an ambulance and went back to be sure that they weren't going for Marilyn. Marilyn was being revived, and at this point I don't know exactly how they forced everyone to follow their orders to finish her off, but most likely they told them that she was a threat to National Security, as they would be if they revived her or spoke about what they had witnessed that night. Along with the threat there was also a reward for all their silence.

 

Jack was not involved in this. He was deeply saddened by her death. He experienced deep guilt and anger over the fact that their child was still being abused, so he devised a plan to get her away from the family in Texas where Marilyn had hidden her. He planned his trip to Dallas, and told Jackie and Bobby about his plan. Bobby, nor the rest of the Kennedy clan could allow this, so they had Jack killed to preserve the rest of the family. Jack was really the son of Rose and F. Scott Fitzgerald, so they hated him anyway. He was killed and the rest of the Kennedy family kept tabs over the years on the little girl to make sure she suffered.

 

The murder of Marilyn described above came to me in a dream.

This is a theory I read on the Internet and as laughable as it may seem, it's the only theory that "works." Either President Kennedy or Robert Kennedy had Marilyn so depressed and angry that she said over the phone that day that she was going to call a press conference on Monday and blow the lid off the Kennedys. In pillow talk, one of the Kennedys told Marilyn about attempts on Castro's life. The CIA (among others) were tapping her phone. What she said about Castro was nothing. But what she said to someone on the phone that day did give cause for murder. She told someone about President Kennedy being taken to an undisclosed airforce base and shown 3 little bodies from outer space.

 

Years ago I read about Harry Truman taking his friend Jackie Gleason to see the bodies. After Eisenhower saw them, for some reason in his second term, he suffered a heart attack. It's a scary thing to think there are spacemen, but abductees claim so everyday. I don't like hearing about UFO's as it truly scares me. I think the CIA moved in to kill her Saturday night. Bobby had been there that day which made it look good from their point of view. Just imagine if people found out about spacemen, that they really existed. Religious beliefs would go down the drain; there'd be panic...

Hello, about 8 yrs ago I met with Robert Slatzer, Jack Clemmons, and two men from back east. I sold them 42 pictures, unpublished pictures of MM,we talked in a restaurant in Hollywood. Last week I met a man who really knew about the last 2 days of her life in detail, as he dropped her off the morning before her death. I thought at first, he was crazy, but he knew things beyond belief and they all fit in. Anyone that would like to look into this, Jack Clemmons, Robert Slatzer, any one really interested would like to talk to this man. I need someone that knows about the last two days of her life.

 

I think this man has the key but I'm not sure how to put it together, this man is 70 and was there, thank you.

Marilyn most definitely committed suicide... She was not happy with what she had become and hated the constant media attention and countless controversies. Just looking at how many men she married and had serious relationships with shows that she was never quite satisfied. I think she consciously chose to od that night and put herself out of her inner misery and torment. But she broke a lot of hearts, including mine when she did.

I think that Marilyn Monroe's case should be re-opened. It is obvious that she didn't commit suicide, she was a great actress and not given enough credit for how great she was. When I watch her movies, I just want her to be happy forever. I think that Marilyn deserves to at least rest in peace and until her death is figured out, I don't think she will. I don't think she would want everybody to think she committed suicide. She wanted to be great for her public and to me she always will be, GREAT. Maybe with today's technology they could find out something new. Everything is so messy in her case, nothing fits together and everything contradicts everything else, and I believe there are still people, who are alive today that could tell us at least something about what happend to her, if they wanted to.

 

I Love Norma Jean and want her case figured out, not just pushed aside with an easy, oh well she committed suicide. Marilyn DESERVES better then that.

Norma Jean was killed by some low level hit men working for the CIA because she was going to blow the whistle on secrets that the Kennedy boys had told her regarding UFO's. That's the truth...

She was killed by Jimmy Hoffa because Bobby told her a bunch of secrets about them wanting to kill Fidel Castro. She was going to come forward with it all during a press conference on August 6. I think the Mob wanted it to look like Bobby did it because he was trying to put a stop to organized crime, and he made no secret about wanting Jimmy Hoffa dead. And he was a perfect suspect because of the affair.

 

I think they did it with an enema of barbituates. Dr. Nogushi who performed her autopsy said her anus was red and irritated. She also had bruising, which means they were holding her down. Her stomach was empty and she supposedly swallowed fifty pills? And there was no water glass, Marilyn refused to swallow one pill without water. I think the nurse and the doctors helped with the coverup because they didn't want to mess with the mob. They waited four hours before calling the cops, they obviously wanted to make sure eveything was perfect, maybe they were paid off. The Kennedys could have been involved in the coverup but only because they knew they would be suspected. Everyone closely related to the case was killed, and all the files mysteriously disappeared, it definitely seems like mob activity.

I think Monroe found out to much while she hung out with Kennedy and Kennedy's administration pressured him into having her killed. I'm not saying Kennedy had Monroe assassinated, I am saying that Kennedy's administration had something to do with it.

Marilyn Monroe was having an affair with JFK and Bobby Kennedy. Bobby broke it off with her and she threatenend to go public at her next press conference. Her neighbors claim that they witnessed an ambulance at her house around 11 or so, but the ambulance claims to have arrived at 2:30 and pronounced her dead. There was no glass of water found in her room (which would make it impossible to swallow over 40 pills with no water). The maid washed all of her sheets very soon after her death. Her room was also locked from the outside, which means that she didn't lock it herself. Bobby Kennedy was supposedly in San Fransisco the night of the accident, but Marilyn's maid admitted years later that Bobby was indeed at Marilyn's house the night she was killed. Over 20 cc's of bile were found in her stomach, which means that the pills could not have been taken orally. She made a phone call to her friend hours before she was killed, stating that she was scared and thought that her house was bugged by the Mafia. She seemed happy in her last days, after being REHIRED by Fox to complete her film. Marilyn did not kill herself. She knew too many people in higher places and too much information that could endanger them. She was tragically killed and many of us will remember her beauty and talent forever.

Man! Some of these theories freak me out! I have a theory of my own. I've had many. Just when I think I have the true cause of death, I read another Marilyn book! Then I finish with another theory. Then I have to look at the facts and eliminate the theory. I realize Marilyn did not take her own life, that's fact. I've read so many books on her that I'm sometimes confused. So many contradictions. By reading Marilyns autospy report, which I believe to be fact, I've discovered one/half of the truth. She did not die by sleeping pills. The final half I'm still working on, The Who! The most important half. I worked on the first half for twenty years now, I've weeded through the theory and come up with very little fact. So far my conclusion to Marilyns mysterious death points to the one person at the scene of her death, Eunice Murray. Accidently, by a medicated enema perscribed by Dr. Grennson to calm Marilyn and to help her to rest. Ms. Murray over medicated the perscribed enema, and in combination w/the other medication Marilyn was receiving perscribed by Docter Engleberg and resting in Marilyns system caused the deadly mixture that killed our beloved Marilyn. This is my theory from the facts I've combined after eliminating the theory. If there is someone out there that can show to me some fact, no theory please, to contradict me, PLEASE let me know. Then maybe I can feel at peace. Then maybe I'll stop reading every book and buying every video I can on the Marilyn Mystery.............Or Not...........

Yeah, I agree that her death was at least sanctioned by the Kennedy's, Bobby in particular, who had a lot to cover up for his brother.

 

In the Sam Hersch book, "The Dark Side of Camelot" he claims that two men were seen leaving her home on the night she died: Robert Kennedy and a another man with a bag. Also, evidence of a barbituate suppository, enough to kill her, was found.

I would like to say something to some of the people who left a message on page two, please don't disrespect Marilyn by saying a midget or aliens or some other stupid things that were said. if you haven't read any books on her or saw any biographies on her and you don't really know what happened to her, please don't make up some stupid theory on why you think she is dead. I believe that Bobby Kennedy and Pat Newcomb were involved. I believe that the Kennnedy's had Pat planted to watch Marilyn and make sure she wouldn't hold a press conference. Everyone knew that Pat spent the last two days of Marilyns life with Marilyn. I believe Bobby told Marilyn it was over the Friday night before she died for the final time. Pat spent the night and they argued so much that Dr. Greenson had to make Pat leave. Nobody was going to tell Marilyn how to handle this lastest development. She was out of Pat's (who was her publicist) control. Marilyn also learned that Saturday, that her photographer who took some nude pics that were going to be published, had been notified by Pat that the deal was off. Marilyn knew that Pat had overstepped her bounds. The reason Pat didn't want the pictures published was because she didn't want to embarrass the Kennedy's reputation. Everyone had just watched Marilyn sing Happy Birthday to the President about 2 months earlier. This wouldnt look good for them. So when Pat couldnt control Marilyn anymore, she told Bobby. Bobby told her to get the bottle of Nembetual from her bedside. They needed to know what to use so that it would look like Marilyn committed suicide. After Marilyns doctor ordered Pat to leave, Marilyn called the doctor to ask if he had taken the bottle of Nembutual from her bedside. He said no. Who took it then? I believe that Pat took it . Marilyn was killed because she knew too much. She was out of control and angry and was a time bomb waiting to explode. The Kennedys couldnt risk everything their family had worked for for generations to be gone because of her. So they acted. I believe that Marilyn was " hit" sometime after 10:00. Someone injected her with a mixture of Nembutal. The housekeeper said that she was asked to leave about that time by some men who came to the door. She went nextdoor and when she came back , she found Marilyn comatose in the guest house. That is where she kept her locked file cabinet. That is probably where her diary was . I think that someone still alive knows enough to come clean and tell the whole world what really happened. Pat are you ready to talk?????

Who: I don't think it was an accident or an intentional act on Miss Monroe's part, though I think she was emotionally unstable due to her personal history, lifestyle and over-medication prior to her death. It could either be outright murder (by a number of persons that had motive and oppotunity) or medical malpractice on the part of her psychiatrist and the housekeeper assistant acting under his direction. Due to the missing documentation, aborted inquiries, and varying stories told by eye witnesses after her death, some very powerful people have benefitted by having her death ruled a suicide (case closed) and by having personal effects and documentation removed from the chain of custody that may draw uncomfortable verifiable links to themselves and their activities. Who those persons are will likely never come to light if they haven't by now.

 

How: Ingestion is the least likely method due to autopsy reports on the condition of her alimentary canal and stomach, but the official reports of "not finding needle marks" makes the entire autopsy suspect in my opinion due to the number of eye witness accounts reporting a number of injections she received both at the studio and performed by her psychiatrist in the months right before her death. Too much conflicting information is given to draw a good conclusion other than the reported massive overdose of barbituates, an end that seems likely (and convenient) given her psychiatric treatment/diagnoses, previous substance abuse history and recent personal disappointments. The time between her death and the call to the police, the "too neat" death scene including washed up linens, and missing evidence points to a cover-up, but those covering may have benefitted from a timely coincidence of a medical foul-up. (A little too timely in my opinion.)

 

Why: Medical error/overdose or she knew too much and was a loose cannon that had to be silenced. I think the latter slightly more believable given the timing. Had her death, with the exact set of circumstances happened a few months earlier or a few months later I'd say the former cause would be more likely. Other: It would be beneficial I think, if the case were re-opened as almost all the players, both main and bit players, are dead.

 

The story is fast becoming ancient history but it remains a provocative glimpse into the failings of our powerful cultural and perhaps political icons. The interconnected links and patterns in this case are fascinating and would make for a very good read if someone objective without an axe to grind, garbage to bury, or fast buck to turn would investigate and report the facts in one cohesive report rather than the jumble of a chorus of voices with agendas that we have today. As for Miss Monroe, may she rest in peace eventually.

I do believe it was some sort of anal suppository forcefully placed inside her and that modern forensic science could prove this if her body was re-examined. Unfortunately, Marilyn surrounded herself with a lot of people who weren't very good people. She had a knack for looking to shady people for support, and trusting the untrustworthy. I think she felt comfortable around "losers", because she spent her childhood raised by various people who weren't really out for her best interests, yet she felt dependent on them, so she learned to see them as people who wanted to help her. I think she tricked herself into seeing them in a positive way, so she could "survive".

 

Anyway, it became a life long pattern, trying to get approval, acceptance, and love from cold-hearted people who's first priority was their own selfish needs. She made friends with people who used her. She was always trying to help people, but she was not quite an angel, she had her own problems and mental/personality issues. So, when the Kennedy's were done with their "plaything", and didn't want To deal with her emotional attatchment to them, and didn't like the Attention and problems caused by her frequent calls to the White House, they "cut Her off", without explanation, making her feel humiliated, as if she were a free prostitute. She was angry.

 

They, out of their own foolishness told her many things, perhaps to impress her, many things that were "Top Secret". She threatened to expose them. They plotted her death, and used her "friends" to help them. They decided it was time she commit suicide, and injected her in the armpit with a lethal dose of drugs she'd had prescriptions to.

WHO: Dr. Ralph Greenson (injection), Bobby Kennedy (cause/struggle), Eunice Murry (cover up), Peter (assisting /cover up) WHY: John F. Kennedy had to have Marilyn's relationship cut off from him, AND Bobby, so Peter and Bobby went over to Marilyn's home August 4th. The Mafia did NOT kill her because they were trying to EXPOSE the Kennedy's thats why her house was bugged. (The government destroyed those tapes later). Peter, Bobby, and Dr. Greenson discussed things with Marilyn, saying it was over between all of them, and Marilyn felt aweful And threatened to expose their affairs and what she had written in her diary about government issues at a press confrenceshe would hold in a few days. Taking her seriously, there was a fight, or arguement. No murder was intentional. The Kennedy's would not intentionally plan out a murder, its not their style. This was a murder, but only a "last resort" thing. Since threatened them, they had to do something. Either to calm her down, or kill her. That is why Dr. Greenson was there with them, because neither Bobby nor Peter knew anything about injection. (I know all three were there because they all got pulled over for speeding about the same time Marilyn was suffering, coming from L.A.) The cops let them go because of who They were) A heated argument went on, so they had to calm her down, since they found some liquid in her stomach in the autopsy report, maybe they Calmed her down with some sort of liquid. By force. She also had bruises on her lower left side and lower back. There was violence that day/night. This all happened in the 'Guest Room'.

 

HOW: Needle Injection. I read the toxicology study and it says enema or taking pills was too small of a dose to kill her from what they found in her blood stream. Needle Injection was what KILLED her. And here is my theory about that. A lot of people say an enema Killed her but your canal can't hold THAT much water and barbituates that was found in her blood stream. I think they gave her an enema YES, and they did it the "knee chest" way which is being on your left side with your right knee up. If she was forced then this is why she had a bruise on her left side. And her back had a bruise, someone had to hold her still forcably. They gave Her an enema filled with nembutal (pentobarbital) and Chloral Hydrate and held her still. When she became incoherant and confused they took her to her bedroom on her sheets. Where they left her to die. Peter put the pills out right, 15 bottles, not 8 which is said on the report. And took some pills out of the right bottles that matched the enema. They put the phone in her hand and left out the window locking the door behind them making it look like she locked herself in, and killed herself. They of course had to fix the window. Phone calls WERE made by Marilyn. Or perhaps made it look like it was Marilyn saying goodbye, but really it was Peter or Bobby staging everything when really Marilyn was drugged on her back on the bed. But the reports say she was drugged and incoherant. The reports come from Peter Lawford himself.

 

How could he have been on the other end of the phone if He was in the room? Those phone calls were destroyed evidence also. Somewhere along the line another injection was made maybe because Marilyn wasn't dying. So Dr. Greenson gave Marilyn an injection to make sure she was dead. Then the 3 men left. The maid Eunice had to wait because they paid her to make sure she was dead. She found Marilyn and washed the sheets because the enema caused some bowel stains. Eunice thought she was dead, and she was... Her body was moved also and there is proof. The lividity (purpleness) was on her face and neck showing that she was on her stomach and the blood set at the bottom of where gravity is. She was face down for about 3 to 4 hours on her bed.

 

But there is also some faint lividity on her back, and behind her arms and legs. So she was on her back FIRST. For about 1 hour, where "faint" lividity starts after death, then she was moved on her stomach. I got this from the toxicology report also, and the picture. Someone moved her body after she was dead and let her lay there for another 4 hours. The police came and ambulance took her away dead.

 

OTHER: I hear that an ambulance came before the second one and someone COULD HAVE resesitated her and allowed Her to live but then the CPR resesitation was stopped for some unknown Reason and THEN the injection was made to actually kill her, by Dr. Greenson. The first ambulance left. And then the second one came back 3 hours later??? This could be the story also... The government can pay off anyone I guess. AND Marilyn does rest in peace in heaven. Jesus gives you peace when you die if you believe in him.

When the police got to her place they found the maid doing laundry---Marilyn's bed sheets to be exact. This is because she had several bowl movements due to the potency of the enema.

 

OTHER = Whoever took Marilyn's life did so selfishly because they ended the life of a legend.

Marilyn was suicidal because, at least as far as the Kennedy brothers are concerned, for whatever political reason, they were concerned about her, but in no way were they, the Kennedys and Marilyn, ever connected except on anything but a strictly political level of correspondence. Marilyn must have been extremely despondent and had decided to take her own life. The person or persons who supplied Marilyn with the extra pills is therefore culpable because they would have had reason to believe she was capable of taking her own life and can not explain it off as if they aren't morally culpable. The very fact that they would hide the fact further establishes their culpability. If one of your friends calls you asking for a whole bottle of sleeping pills you don't give it to them. And also this act of supplying the pills begins when the person(s) who receives the call from Marilyn first decides in his or their minds to get them to her just to clear up a long enduring myth concerning the California penal code as it relates to this case. As I see it a lot of people, or possibly someone, must have confused subdivision (c) with subdivisions (b) and (a) or linked the last one with the second or both of the first two that is of Section 192 of the California Penal Code. Section 192 is the section concerned with manslaughter. It would be very easy to misread this section if you don't realize that the Subdivisions are not the Sections. The Subdivisions are labeled (a), (b), and (c). Also to set the record straight, and I was alive through almost all of the sixties, Presidents don't mess around with other peoples wives. They never have and they never will. At least not in America. I wouldn't rule out any other theories of Marilyn's death but I think mine is the most likely since I would prefer to believe the states finding rather than someone elses conjecture. The state found the death to be a suicide so I will go along with that only adding that in my opinion one of her female friends supplied the pills which she took. I also wouldn't rule out the possibility that the friend might have been told by Marilyn that she wanted to kill herself.

 

HOW = By hand delivering a toxic amount of sleeping pills to Marilyn.

 

OTHER = After nearly forty years all other leads have come up empty. I've always believed it was a

suicide but as time goes on people are continuing to profit by coming up with and enlarging on the most absurd theories imaginable. The more they spread these slanders the more absurd their theories become until it becomes a vicious lie feeding off itself. What we are left with is a cruel revolving exploitation of a legend. Whoever did this must come forward and admit it. Justice requires it.

HOW = RFK flew into town on the day she died. she refused to give him the diary in the afternoon, so he returned in the evening with two men, knocked her about a bit, and then injected her with enough drugs to kill several people. the presidents men covered in up, along with some of the head people in the police. the other people present ( pat newcomb, the housekeeper, the psychiatrist, Lawford, etc.) covered it up too, either because they were threatened, bribed or agreed with RFK. during the hours after her death, the locked room scenario was created, and afterwards many impartant pieces of evidence were stolen, eg phone records, organs, full autopsy report, red book

 

OTHER = it had to be the kennedys, because no one else had the power to murder her and then cover it up so completely. all the evidence pointed to murder (eg no drugs found in her stomach, hours before police were called, etc) yet no inquest or court hearing has been had.

WHO = the Kennedys and her doctor ( or perhaps another one)

 

WHY = the Kennedy clan knew that there was a great possibility that they would be exposed if Marilyn said something in a press conference as people say she intended to.

 

HOW = Bobby or John called her telling they wanted to meet her. Then she was taken to a clinic, where there was a doctor waiting to administrate her an enema. this doctor was either forced to do it, or also had something to do with the whole affair. there probably were some FBI agents involved to. the enema was either forced or administrated wiht Marilyn being sedated. the enema is the reason why there where no signs of drugs found in her stomach during the autopsy, and that is why there must have been a doctor involved in the crime, because only a doctor would know how to administrate a drug with no possibility of finding any traces of it. an enema was the ideal way of killing Marilyn without leaving any clues.

 

OTHER = although there's no real possibilty of this case being solved nowadays, I think the guilty ones shouldn't have gotten away with it....it's completely unfair that a diva like Marilyn Monroe remains in people's memory as a suicider.

Greenson was been qouted as saying that he would be her one and only doctor;so instead of trying to help her, everyone wanted a piece of the world's most adored film star. Greenson played up on her vunerability; towards the end of her life she called him up to 5-6 times a day for help.

 

There was involvment with the Kennedys, she knew secrets about the mafia, the proposed assination of Fidel Castro etc. and she was simply a woman who knew too much.

 

HOW = There was no pill residue in her stomach, no was there any water for her to have taken the tablets. Eunice Murray was washing sheets when the police arrived, which suggests that enema was the most probable cause of death. A 'hotshot' which is an injection into the heart which would kill instantly is also a possibility. It is also a fact that she was killed in the guesthouse and moved to her bedroom. Two men were seen in the poolhouse at her time of death.

 

OTHER = Her autopsy was botched, as the samples were stolen. The story of her death was changed twice in the two hours that the police were in her home. (times were altered). Greenson, and Engelberg were unusually defensive when questined at the scene. An unusual response, seeing as Greenson had such a close relationship with Monroe (one would think that he would appear shocked or upset).

 

A proper enquiry was never considered which means that the truth may never come out (of course, there's always the possibility....)

HOW = Things got out of control...whatever the actual "cause of death" the drugs and alcohol were responsible. People in these situations reach a stage where they are not sure what they are doing any more...it's just out of control....I've seen it happen....

 

OTHER = It's very sad, I'm sure no one really knows what happened, I don't believe the mofia would bother killing her, no benefit to them, the Kennedy's had other ways of effectively dealing with her, murder was not their style, at least at the time....

OTHER = If you read the book "The Last Days of Marilyn Monroe" you will be able to find out how the autopsy report was fixed. There was no pill residue found in her stomach. As a matter of fact there was nothing in her stomach at all. The amount of drugs that was found in her bloodstream was too high to not have any residue in her stomach if taken orally. Therefore the only other possible way was a fatal dosage of an injection. Her Dr. was known to give her injections from time to time and I do think that her shrink knew about the whole thing. As for Mrs. Murray (the houskeeper) she was part of the cover-up too. There were many people who claimed to be her friends that knew about the whole MURDER. Kennedy's to this day still have an influence in this country and system, why do you think that this case was never reopened. There is so much evidence, yet when asked to reopen the case to investigate...it never happens, and that is because of the Kennedy influence. But I guess that both JFK and RFK found out that what goes around comes around. There were tapes from the bugging of her house that were destroyed because of all the evidence on it surrounding the day of her death. RFK and Peter Lawford's visit that day were caught on tape and it was said that there was arguing between RFK and Marilyn and then what sounded like a violent struggle and then the sounds of someone falling hard to the floor. It was stated that the autopsy report failed to have the fact that there were fresh bruises on her body, one on the hip area along with other areas. It's a shame that this was covered-up just because this countries politicians are worried about their reputations. The whole government is corrupt.

HOW = Because there was no pill residu in her stomach, we know she didn't overdose herself. It was done by an injection in a nonvisible place. (the autopsy also said there were no incisions to her skin, supposedly right?) BUT there are no autopsy files or reports anymore because a few wealthy men paid off a few now wealthy doctors to get rid/ dispose of them.

I believe that it was Ralph Greenson that finally killed Marilyn Monroe. When paramedic James Hall arrived at Monroe's residance he had resusataded Marilyn then when Ralph Greenson arrived he ordered James Hall to remove the resusatation unit and start giving CPR. Also while CPR was being preformed Dr. Ralph Greenson Injected Marilyn with an unknown drug inbetween Marilyn Monroe's breasts, and this coincodently was where Marilyn was cut open for autospy... This seems a bit strange when James Hall had already brought Marilyn to life, why would he order someone to remove the resusatation unit when she had started breathing with the machine?

Also I believe that it was all down to a join effort, i believe this because earlier in the day of the day Marilyn was pronounced dead Robert Kennedy and an aide who im not 100% sure of visited Marilyn and told Marilyn's maid (Mrs Murray) to leave the house whilst himself and Marilyn talked in that time Marilyn jumped and tried to attack Bobby and he was forced to bring in inforcement who injected Marilyn with pentobariual under her left arm... Conspiracy? As pentobariual was one of many drugs that killed Marilyn Monroe!

Also the amount of drugs apparently found in Marilyn Monroe's blood was enough to kill over 20 people and there is NO WAY on earth she could have taken them orally this automatically means that she was injected (does the Robert Kennedy incident ring a bell?) Also by the time she had taken 35% of the drugs her heart would have stopped and wouldnt have been able to absorb the other 65%, so how did the other 65% get into her body?

They say the substace that the Dr. gave her would have been on the bed sheets, but the maid had already taken care of that. It is a poor setup as a suicide to me. WHY = Marilyn had been sexually used and abused by both Kennedys, had been summarily tossed aside like yesterday's garbage, threatened to go public not only with her affairs with the President and Attorney General, but with sensitive affairs of state, she wouldn't give RFK her diary, he beat her (bruises somehow ommitted from the autopsy report), sent his CIA goons who administered the lethal drugs in the guesthouse before laying her out on the bed and planting the pill bottles, finally a lethal injection straight into her heart as witnessed by the ambulance drivers.

OTHER = i think it was all a big accident except for phsychiatrist part, he was just crazy.

The sad truth behind the entire situation is that Marilyn may have actually been in love with both brothers at one time or another and it has been claimed that only months before her death she had been pregnant with Roberts child. Overall, I dont believe that the Kennedys were "physically" responsible for her death yet I strongly believe that she was killed as a result of her association with them.

(I dont believe that either the Mafia or Hoffa had anything to do with Marilyns death. She was the greatest weapon that both parties had in exposing the Kennedys for what they really were, and in turn, bringing down the administration that was becoming such a threat to them.)

HOW = Marilyn did orally take sleeping pills on her final night yet I dont believe that it was these pills which caused her death. The amount of chemicals in her blood stream at the time of her autopsy could have killed a small horse and may have only been administered through an injection. During the autopsy injection marks were found on her body yet only a small amount of capsules were found in her throat and stomach. Most of the capsules found were still undisolved, inturn, having no effect on her at all. I believe that she was probably quite sedate as a result of her own drinking / pill taking on the night she died (in true Marilyn fashion) and this would have made it easier for somebody to hold her down and inject her. I believe this injection, coupled with a broken heart, killed Marilyn Monroe.

OTHER = Shame on the likes of Pat Newcomb, Peter Lawford and Frank Sinatra for aiding this cover up. Their staunch loyalty to the Kennedy clan stayed with them until their deaths, even after both Lawford and Sinatra were turned away by the family. All of the important players in the Monroe / Kennedy saga are now dead and as a result, we will probably never know exactly what happened to Marilyn.

I agree with the majority of you that Marilyn's death was anything but suicide. It is obvious that there is conspiracy involved due to the fact that Marilyn was dead for over 4 hours before the police were even notified. I must admit that I hadn't really decided how until I read one theory here on the website. I'm not sure who was responsible for masterminding the murder, I believe that Eunice and Marilyn's psychologist were responsible for carrying it out. I believe a barbituate enema was given to her, and there was a struggle between her and the psychologist or maid. And Eunice was found washing the sheets when the police arrived, due to bowel movements from the potency of the enema. But no matter what Marilyn's cause of death was she was, in my opinion, the brightest star Hollywood ever had. She was beautiful, intelligent, talented and absolutely wonderful.

I largely support the theory "from Amber.." on page 2 of this site except for the involvement of a Doctor as pointed out below. It is utilizes all the information I have gathered over the years. Key additional points to remember are: (1) Though officially denied, Bobby Kennedy was in L.A. the night in question (a policeman confirms this), (2) Marilyn had restraint type bruises (autopsy), (3) Pills were definitely not the source of overdose (empty stomach--autopsy) and therefore method of murder was by someone who did not realize that an autopsy would reveal this, and in fact make it glaringly obvious that a murder had taken place (if the government had not tried to cover up information), (4) As pointed out by Amber from the autopsy reports, the body had been moved several times during the process of death and shorty thereafter, (5) Her famous birthday song to John Kennedy shortly before her death could have become disasterous from a public relation point of view because of the actual sexual relationship she had with John (if knowledge of the relationship had been known to the general public at the time--John would have become the laughing stock of the world!), (6) Because of (5), and her sexual relationship with Bobby, both John and Bobby would have become objects of jokes for decades, if not centuries to come in the history books, (7) As a consequence of (5) and (6), the birthday song was no joke to John and Bobby and they both had become deadly serious about the problem with Marilyn (literally!), (8) With that song, Marilyn was sending a clear inside message to both John and Bobby of what was about to happen to them (she was about to speak to the press about what she knew in the coming days--which was plenty).

As anyone competent can see, there was extreme motive of the highest kind faced by John and Bobby. Bobby was for the most part, at the scene on the day in question. Death was by murder. They should have paid off the those responsible for the autopsy--but they were too ignorant (not being doctors) to even realize the evidence that would arise from it. Of course, all the surrounding evidence does not help to extract what is really important to this case. Nor does it help when the government (during the sixties) at the highest levels is helping to obscure the evidence.

Side note to keep in mind: Intelligent people who have lived long enough know this: What goes around...comes around! I'd say that both John and Bobby learned this lesson well.

Additional side note about Kennedys in general: Consider Michael Skakel (Kennedy relative-not yet convicted--running from law for 20 yrs plus), William Kennedy Smith (Edwards nephew--not convicted--but neither have other notable people in the past), Edward Kennedy (John and Bobby's brother). These people are bad and not too smart. Michael killed Martha Moxly, William raped a girl, and Edward probably killed the woman who drowned in his car (Edward's behavior as a senator and actions after the car went off the bridge make this conclusion likely--he is not a good person once the rose colored glasses are off). Being a Kennedy, has for decades, guaranteed a lot of immunity from the law. I wonder what the real story of PT-109 is? In any case, if you are one that still thinks the Kennedy family is a group of angels, than you will feel justified to happily ignore the events and/or refuse to connect the dots.

Obviously marilyn was killed... by whom it isn't so clear. Through sinatra at her mysterious and damaging weekend at cal-neva she was presumably threatened by the mafia along with enduring other humiliating activities constructed to discredit her. it is known that bobby kennedy was at marilyn's residance on he night of her death, along with peter lawford, pat newcomb, and eunice murry. dr greenson was called to the scene at some point, perhaps even before marilyn died. all i can erally say for sure is that marilyn was murdered, and it was premeditated and for specific resons regarding information she had in her vast collection for notes and diaries. every time i read a book or any research on this subject i am saddened. marilyn was obviously a misunderstood and used individual who cried out for help to deaf ears until her death.

Different colorations on her body indicated she had been moved after death.

The level of Bethanol in Marilyn Monroe's body was 4.2 miligram percent. It would have taken approximately 40-42 such capsules for that level to have been achieved. If she supposedly took this number of pills by oral ingestion, then why weren't there any capsules from the pills in her body. Besides, she would have died before half of those were taken by mouth. They were put into her body by other means.

 

There are two ways in which they could have been given to her. One by an enema. Bethanol came in a liquid form back then. The other way was by a hyperdermic. They could put the shots between finger, toes, and underarms. Basically where ever the folicles of hair grow. They meaning the three men who were there that night. The Attorney General, Robert Kennedy, Her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson, and Peter Lawford.

 

When they arrived the first time at Marilyn's home, it was only Bobby Kennedy and his brother-in-law, Peter Lawford, it was between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. They told Ms. Murray and her son, Norman Jeffries (who is my source) to leave. Peter Lawford gave him some money and told them to go down to the market and buy some cokes. He said the message was clear, that they needed to get out of there.

 

Jeffries story continues with them arriving approximately 30min. later. He said he had never seen anybody in that state before, she was both extremely angry and hesterical. He then called Dr. Greenson who lived nearby, her came by to calm her. After Greenson leaves, Marilyn retires to her bedroom, and makes a series of phone calls. Aroung 10:00pm, Norman Jeffries said that Bobby Kennedy arrived at the door with two men (the other two I mentioned earlier). According to his story, Jeffries and his Mother the housekeeper, are again told to dissappear. When they came back, they found Marilyn laying comotos on the day bed in the guest cottage.

 

During this time that they were gone, a number of cover-ups began. Including one that not that many people know of. Including the fact that she died at the Santa Monica hospital that night, but that's were a cover-up begins with the CIA.

I believe it seems possible that the Kennedy's had something to do with it. I personally believe, since Marilyn was threatening to go public about the whole sexual Kennedy situation and because of the ambulance drivers statement (about an injection given by Dr. Ralph Greenson, Marilyn's shrink, to her as she began coming to). I think someone in the Kennedy family (if not a number of them) had RFK go to her house and push her to the limit, making it appear that she may have commited suicide. It was previously arranged by the Kennedy's for Dr. Ralph Greenson to also make a visit the night of August 4th to give her a "helping hand" in her end. One might also take notice that he was conviently available to tag along with Marilyn in her ride to the hospital. Try pondering on this.

Before eunice died, she told one of her family members that she doesnt understand why she should keep quiet about what happened to marilyn. pete lawford was involved in the cover up.. after maril's death he boozed himself to death for 20 years, and would cry endlessly about "poor marilyn". the kennedys are all garbage, and literally got away with the murder of the century. and the tapes and buggings of the lawford and monroe estate are all destroyed, so now we will never know just exactly who killed her and administered the deadly enema. marilyn was very happy at that time of her life.

Phone records, charge receipts, travel, meetings dinners etc. The second place is motivation, ie. financial, political, "illegitimacy" and so on. The majority of murders are committed by those known to the victim with one or more of the aforementioned motives. A "suspicious" death is usually a red flag for a homicide detectives. The perpetrator and/or co-conspirators leave behind false trails of evidence, obviously to cover their tracks.

 

If there were a child, male or female of Ms. Monroe and the former President and that child stepped forward with compelling evidence of familial connections between the Kennedys and those who participated in raising the alleged child, this would be enough probable cause to reopen an investigation. Including looking into all those who have received monies who are not related to Ms. Monroe from her estate, which runs into the millions and millions. Obviously, DNA would play a major part in uncovering the truth.

 

Their is plenty of Ms. Monroe's DNA left out in the world. Massachusetts has a law on it's books called "illegitimacy and desertion". It basically states that a person who brings a child into the world must make financial arrangments based on their abilitiy to pay. This would certainly be a motive for any number of the Kennedys who are the same generation of Ms. Monroe. I saw an interesting web site. It gives one pause to think. This would not be the first time in US history that the truth did not come out for forty of fifty years after the fact.
