We were sent an article recently that appeared on NationalMessenger.com, attributed to Gemma Meyer. This article outlines dire consequences for acquiescence to the demands of increasingly exploitative and underdeveloped nations. It may or may not be a topic conforming to the political correctness standard of the day, but it is worth your open-minded consideration.
Note: the publication date of the piece was Jan. 2005. Therefore, we are afforded the luxury of hindsight to see how the dour outlook painted below may or may not be developing in the U.S. as we move forward in 2007.
Could it happen to us
South Africa may be the grim model of the future Western world… Events in America reveal trends chillingly similar to those that destroyed our country.
America's structures are Western. Writing letters to the press, manning stands at county fairs, hosting fund-raising dinners, attending rallies, setting up conferences, writing your Congressman - that is what we know.
Americans may “soon find themselves unable or unwilling to stand up to challenge the new political methods that will be the inevitable result of the ethnic metamorphosis now taking place in America.”
We will be unable to cope with the new rules of the game. Those rules are “violence, mob riots, intimidation through accusations of racism, demands for proportionality based on racial numbers and all America will “cave in.”
We are doomed to compromise away their independence and ultimately their way of life. It happened in South Africa
Westerners continue to mistake the psychology of the Third World and its peoples. Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe are perfect examples of those mistakes. Sierra Leone is in perpetual civil war, and Zimbabwe - once the thriving, stable Rhodesia - is looting the very people (the white men) who feed the country.
Westerners do not admit that the same kind of savagery could come to America when enough immigrants of the right type assert themselves. The fact is, Americans are sitting ducks for Third World exploitation of the Western conscience of compassion.
What we could be facing
We will face an invasion of private land by the "have-nots."
We may face a decline in health care quality, roads and buildings in disrepair, and the banishment of our history.
Our tax dollars will go to those who don't earn and don't pay.
America will be either destroyed from without, or transformed from within, used to suit the goals of the new rulers.
We cannot fight terror and street mobs with letters to your Congressmen.
We cannot fight accusations of racism with prayer meetings.
Millions around the world want our good life. However, they do not care for the high-minded ideals of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, and our Constitution. What they want is our “possessions, our power, and our status.”

Our Take
The article reads as gloomy diatribe by person clearly skewed by their unique experience with race and society. America is not doomed to follow in the footsteps of South Africa. That seems a bit of stretch primarily because the conditions and the culture are totally different.
There has been a track record of racial integration in the U.S. unmatched by any civilization perhaps in the history of the world to date (which may be an indictment on racial integration across the globe). But, read the full article and make up your own mind. It is, after all, your right to do so in America. This is what makes America a great nation – the ability to make up our own minds and consider the opinions of all, whether we agree or not.
