If Barack Obama is elected, WHAT KIND OF
GAS PRICES ARE WE GOING TO PAY?

July 2008

Next time you're filling your gas tank, staring at the pump and those little dials are spinning so fast you can't even read the numbers, ask yourself:

If Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton get a filibuster-proof Democrat majority in the Senate, will gas prices fall?

These liberals, currently running Congress, have no problem with U.S. consumers sending $600-700 billion each year to Russia, Venezuela and the Middle East for oil while they stifle our nation's ability to develop our own known vast energy resources.

That's the choice we're facing this coming fall. We Republicans believe the key to our future is sensible exploration of our own oil resources and an expanded commitment to alternative forms of energy, like nuclear, wind, solar, geothermal and hydrogen power.

The liberal Democrats have a plan as well – to resurrect Jimmy Carter's failed energy policies of raising taxes, increasing regulation, filing more lawsuits and blaming America. We tried Jimmy Carter's solution – it only made things worse and it sure won't work now. Not one of their liberal policies will reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
